The most 'active shuttle contended by American museums
Discovery will not fly 'more' to the stars, but its history is not 'over yet: the most' active American shuttles will have 'a future in a museum. Which, for the moment, not 'unknown and' being a competition between the most 'important American museums dedicated to space. NASA has not announced what will be 'the fate of the shuttle Discovery and the other two that will fly this summer, the Endeavour and Atlantis. U.S. space agency's announcement could come next April 12: a symbolic date because it 'marks 30 years since the first flight of a shuttle, the Columbia (April 12, 1981).
On that day we also celebrate the 50th anniversary of the flight of Yuri Gagarin. Most likely to win a shuttle will be 'one of the most' famous American museums dedicated to the flight, the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, the same who recently asked to present even the debris of the Challenger and Columbia tragedies. During the race there 's also the Museum of Flight in Seattle, which would host the Space Shuttle in the new Gallery for 12 million dollars.
